I've noticed many people running for elections have people stand on street corners and wave. I understand they are volunteers, but there should be a dress code! They are representing a city, or goverment office, not just the people running for the spot, and sweatsuits aren't very professional.
Similar to the Lance Cargill 100 Ideas initiative and the Okie Doke Okie 100, the citizens of Enid, Oklahoma have decided to do some proactive brainstorming and this is the place. This project is not related to the other two, we're just following their examples.
Advisory Board
An advisory board will be created and these ideas will eventually be taken to our city leaders.

There is no need to have 500 signs back to back down the middle of the road. This looks so tacky, and cheap!

Those signs also rarely all get picked up, so it just adds to the trash that is collected along the roadside.
A vote should be deducted per that candidate's signs that aren't picked up within a week of the election!
